Monumento de un danzante otomí, Querétaro

This monument represent the culture and traditions of Queretaro, in which we can appreciate all the staff that this people used to begin each of their ceremonies. We can see the harmony, variety, symmetrical balance, the great use of the colors and the proportion.

Panteón de los Queretanos ilustres

Here is the tomb of Doña Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez and her husband Don Miguel Dominguez, two of the most important in the Independence of Mexico, this is the place where it is honored the men and women important in Queretaro. Here you can see the symmetrical balance, the variety, the line and proportion.

The author of this project was Carlos Noriega, it is located on the “Plaza de la Corregidora”, this monument was built to celebrate the first anniversary of Independence, and was inaugurated on September 13, 1910. Here we can see rhythm, balance, proportion, emphasis and variety.

La Casa de los Corregidores, Querétaro

This building was concluded until 1770, it had a great importance because there were taking meetings to plot against the Spanish Crown, and also it was the home of the magistrates during the colonial era, now it is use as Palace of Government. We appreciate the clean lines and space, as well as symmetrical balance, variety, rhythm and proportion.

Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel

It was created around 1900 in the town of San Miguel Allende, it has a  Gothic style and is particularly evident in the spires, pinnacles and the form of a cross. It was of great importance because it is used as a religious center, where you can appreciate the different styles of arches, stained glass with different images an sizes and paintings entirely dominated religious passages mentioned in the Bible. The elements that we can be see are color, value, line, form and space. Among the principles include symmetrical balance and proportion.
